    Detail Itinerary

    • Day 1Arrive at Kathmandu airport and participate in a welcome dinner party organized by UNO Travels and Adventures.Today is the day you will arrive in Kathmandu. Our representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport and will transfer you to your hotel. Upon reaching your hotel, you will have time to settle down and freshen up. And in the evening, you can stroll around the alleys of Thamel after you will be briefed regarding the trek, and introduced to the guide and other team members. After the meeting, you will be taken to one of the finest typical Nepali restaurants for a welcome dinner. Here, along with typical Nepalese food and cultural shows, you can enjoy local music and ethnic dance performances. Overnight in Kathmandu.
    • Day 2Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu City Use this day to explore the culturally rich city of Kathmandu. Visit UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath Stupa. In the afternoon, you will have a gear check and final preparation for the expedition
    • Day 3Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m) (6 hours)Leaving Kathmandu early this morning our journey goes toward the Nepalese town of Pokhara by tourist vehicle 7hrs or flight where you can enjoy delightful sailing on a lake beneath the Annapurna range making it an excellent place to relax and contemplate what lies ahead. This afternoon at Pokhara you have your trekking briefing and preparation depending on your arrival time. There may be a time to hire a small boat for a quick paddle on a lake. There are plenty of international cafes where you can enjoy international cuisine. If you need to hire some extra trekking gear then there are numerous shops available offering everything you could need.
    • Day 4Drive Pokhara to Nayapul (1050m) (1:30 hours) and Trek to Tikhedhunga via Birethani from Nayapul (4:30 hours)Today is your trek day. After breakfast in the morning, you’ll be heading towards Nayapul which is a half-hour drive from Pokhara. From Nayapul, you’ll start hiking toward Tikhedhunga. Now you’re inside Annapurna Conservation Area and you require permits to enter which will take a while and then we will check in. Overnight at Tikhedhunga.

    • Day 5Trek Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675 m) (6 hours)A long and demanding trek waits for us. After crossing the suspension bridge on the Bhurungdi River, we trek to the Ulleri, a village inhabited by the Magar community, climbing on the stone stairs. We continue our exploration through rhododendron forests, green meadows, cultivated fields, and smaller streams. You may spot one of the several birds such as redstarts, kingfishers, dippers, forktails along the river, and magpies, treepies, and others along with the cultivated areas.

      The trail continues through the settlement at Nangethanti to reach the destination of Ghorepani. We have a beautiful view of magnificent mountain ranges including the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Hiuchuli, and Tarke Kang among others.
    • Day 6Hike Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tadapani (2675m) (6 hours)We have an early morning ascent of Poonhill for the sunrise. This has to be the highlight of the trek as we make our trip to the vantage point early in the morning with the sunrise. Once you see the snow-capped peaks highlighted in the changing golden rays of the sunrise, it will be one of the most unforgettable moments of your life. The peaks in the scenery include the Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri. Known as a photographer’s paradise, we can spend some time here taking breathtaking pictures of the spellbinding surroundings, capturing the spectacular moments in a frame.
    • Day 7Trek Tadapani to Ghandruk (1950m) (3hours)Today we walk down the steep trails initially and pass through the beautiful rhododendron forests. The beauty of this forest, especially when the rhododendron flower blossoms, takes the beauty of the trail to the next level. The blossom of cherries further enriches the trail as we move further and we reach the village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk is the second-largest Gurung settlement in Nepal and provides further insight into the lifestyles of villages that have traditionally provided the backbone of the famous Gurkha regiments. This village provides us with a view of Fishtail, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South along with the Gurung Museum as the other highlight. Cherish the rich Gurung culture in the village.
    • Day 8Trek Ghandruk to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara (4-5 hours)On the Day 8 of the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek, you will trek from the beautiful village of Ghandruk to Nayapul, which takes approximately 4-5 hours. The trail descends through picturesque landscapes, passing through terraced fields, charming villages, and lush green forests. You will immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings as you make your way towards Nayapul. Once you reach Nayapul, you will bid farewell to the trekking trail and embark on a scenic drive that takes around 4-5 hours to reach Pokhara. Along the way, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the countryside, rolling hills, and distant mountain ranges, making for a memorable journey. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you can unwind and relax, reflecting on the incredible experiences of the trek.
    • Day 9Drive from Pokhara to KathmanduOn Day 8 of the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek, you will embark on a scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours, offering you ample time to soak in the mesmerizing landscapes of Nepal. As you leave Pokhara, you'll traverse through winding roads that wind their way through lush valleys, alongside terraced fields, and picturesque rivers.
