Hilly Region also can be known as central geographic region, situated in the southern side of great Himalayas and northern side of Terai covering 68% of total land of our country including the Loamy soil. The altitude ranges between 600m to 3600m above sea level, up above 3600m are included in Himalayan Range. Due to different geographic structure water current are also high and are very good for different sorts of Water Tourism and sports. Hilly Region begins from Mahabharat Range with capital at its centre where indigenous Newar people and other Janajati such as Gurung, Magar, etc are preserving their culture till date.
