    This ultimate trek takes to the base of Mt. Everest crossing through the high altitude Cho La pass (5420m). The most remarkable features of this trek are the opportunity to summit both Gokyo-Ri (5340m) and Kala Pattar (5554m) for the superb outlook of Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Makalu (8463m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m) and Mt. Nuptse (7855m) and the tremendous ice ridge between Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m) and Mt. Gyachung (7922m).

    Moreover, a visit to the Everest Base Camp provides a chance to witness the amazing Khumbu icefall up close. Similarly to many other treks of the Everest region, Chola pass trekking also starts from Lukla, through the home of the legendary Sherpas, following the highly praised trekking route from side to side the Doodh Koshi River, its source of the Gokyo Lake.
